Chang Ung

Chang Ung was the president of one of the three International Taekwon-Do Federations, specifically the one headquartered in Austria, from 2002 to 2015.

A special Congress of the ITF and memorial was held at the People's Palace of Culture in Pyongyang on September 22, 2002, after the death of previous president Choi Hong Hi. It was here that representatives from 46 national Taekwon-Do federations unanimously elected Chang Ung, representative of North Korea to the the International Olympic Committee, as president of the ITF. He was re-elected as president on October 13, 2009. He retired as president in 2015, and was succeeded by Ri Yong Son.
