T6 Twistblock

A High Knifehand Twist Block in the form Taegeuk Yook Jang

As the name implies, a Knifehand Twist Block is a block:

  • That is performed with a knifehand
  • In which the torso twists in the direction of the block

The Knifehand Twist Block is performed as an Outward Block. The idea of a Twist Block is that by twisting the torso in the direction of the block, you will then be able to pull your opponent toward you.

The Knifehand Twist Block appears, for example, in the form Cheonkwon.

Variation: High Knifehand Twist Block[]

The High Knifehand Twist Block is performed at nose-height. It appears, for example, in the form Taegeuk Yook Jang.
