The Rear Elbow Strike (palkup dwit chigi) is an Elbow Strike in which the elbow strikes to the rear.
- In WTF-style, the hand of the striking arm is held open, palm-up.
- In ITF-style, the hand of the striking arm is held as a fist.
The eyes look to the rear, over the shoulder at the target. The arm should be tightly bent and the hand held close to the torso.
