A Skip Axe Kick (also called a Skipping Axe Kick) is simply an Axe Kick performed with the leading leg, while the rear leg pushes off from the ground so that you skip forward while kicking. (This is very similar to the technique used in a Skip Roundhouse. The idea is that by skipping off the rear leg, and kicking with the leading leg, you can close the distance between you and your opponent much more quickly than you could with a conventional rear-leg Axe Kick.
