Like the Kukkiwon, the Taekwondo Promotion Foundation (TPF) is sponsored by the South Korean government's Ministry for Culture, Sports, and Tourism. The TPF is organized as a not-for-profit corporation. It is responsible for activities such as:
- Development of Taekwondo Park, also known as Taekwondowon
- Sponsorship of the World Taekwondo Culture Exp
TPF is headquartered at Taekwondowon.
